This weeks project was a fun one to create. We had to design a two page website that featured a piece of artwork as well as an artist's statement and portfolio. Normally I am not a fan of doing web design, but we weren't required to build the page at this time. All we had to do was create the layout in Photoshop. This was excellent news for this Dreamweaver detesting designer. The first thing I did for this project was to go and research some really cool websites. The one I found that was my favorite was the site for Mohawk Fine Papers. This is the site I modeled my design after. After looking at all the other neat websites I found, I felt my creative juices start to flow and fast and easier than I had expected.
Overall, I am very happy with the final piece for this assignment. n the future, when I have successfully mastered Dreamweaver, I hope to put this design to good use.
