The goal of the project was to take two words that summed up your essence as a person. The two words that summed up my essence were outgoing and outdoorsy. Using these two words my goal was to have my logo feel earthy yet lively. I started with just using the first letter of my last name and turned it into an initial cap. I turned my “H” into a tree. The tree represents the outdoorsy side but also represents the outgoing side. The tree represents the outgoing side because the roots are spread out and reaching throughout the logo design. I used the green background for the earthy feeling. I also added the black edgy outline of the background to give a more outdoorsy feeling as if the tree is sitting in dirt and or on the ground.
My goal for the business card was to keep it clean and simple because the logo itself dominates the design so if there was more involved I believe it would be too much.
