Project 4

This project for me was defiantly the most difficult. My skills in Photoshop were defiantly challenged or I am one of the two…. I left last class on an In Design high feeling like I improved my skills on that program.

I looked at a lot of website for this project, I liked the ones that had a texture in the background and looked like they had some depth to them. I also seemed to be drawn to the ones that had simple and sleek designs. 

Once I settled on my design that’s when the frustration set in. Every time I wanted to place something over something it turned into a mask or something wacky and when I would look it up to see what it was I would only leave more confused. But I got some help from fellow students about just filling the layer and not using shapes. All the things I love to do in Illustrator just didn’t work in Photoshop, no apple z more than once.

I do feel better about my skills but I feel like the site is kind of flat. It has a very childish feeling to me, I wish I could have incorporated more depth to the site. Other than the over all feeling of flatness I did feel like I beefed up my Photoshop skills at least a step or two.
